North you have Holla, EMBA trails etc, West (Upper Highway) you have Giba, Shongweni, Summerveld and the infamous Inanda Valley. South, some good riding around Rock bay, Scottburgh. Then you can go inland to Eston, Cascades, Karkloof etc etc. We are very spoilt here. Pull in!
ians H2Sport Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 The Central and Northern Drakensburg, around 2 hours away, offer awesome riding. Great trails with fantastic scenery. Good, hard riding too. Check out Strava for the heatmap showing the most common routes uploaded
Stretch Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 Look for a place in kloof or hillcrest then you are right on giba and only a small commute to Durban. Also means you are close to Virginia in Eston and everything else in pmb and howick.

Then there is holla, pmb, karkloof, lake eland, Clearwater trails, and drakensberg... Need I say anymore! The mtb here is insane!! Pull in!

They are the BOMB!! No...never...never been to KZN for that matter! Just glad I don't have to send my bike to the farm!
