AndreZA Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 MR Look - does this mean that I'll have to get a re-appraisal of my 585 for insurance purposes ? What should a person normally do in circurcumstances where the insured item increases in value due to forex ? I asked the Q last week in one of the "Insurance" threads. With the fluctuating exchange rate everybody is under insured. If you get quotes in $ and the insurer adjust your premium according to the exchange rate, it should be covered.
GreyOwl Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Rolls Royce is made by Germans... Ferrari is owned by Fiat... Land Rover is owned by BMW... At the end of the day, who really cares where its made. Actually, I've seen many a Fiat fall apart. But you rarely see Toyota's dying?! So why should it be the same with the bikes? Afterall, all our BMW's are made in SA? And look at our work force!!!
