Sizing of photos

Hi Good people.

 

Please assist a tech challenged person.

 

How do I decrease the size of a photo so I can put a picture up on the classifieds ?

open in mspaint -> resize -> 50% -> save as (at least that's what i do)

download windows picture resizer, install( it hink its part of a pack of sorts), right click the file you want to resize and choose what you want. takes a 2mb pic to about 300k. i use it all the time to send pics to family taken with my DSLR. quality id decreased etc but the pics still look good/

Open in Paint.

Go to IMAGE

Select STRETCH

Select width and height percentage, enter.

Save

Shawno I've been using Paint.Net in past few weeks and it seems to be really easy to use.

Once you download and install it, simply go to 'File', then select the photo you want to resize, then go to 'Image' and then down to 'Resize' .. I donno, I'm enjoying it.. but I guess there are other photo resizing programs out there.

Thank guys for all the assistance. managed to sort it out .

Here is an easy one, highlight the pics you want to re-size, right click, send to, mail recipient ..... it will set up the pics as attachments on an email and also ask you if you want the size small/med/large.....drag or copy the pics out of this mail and paste back in your folder....close the mail without saving.
