My name is Adriaan Theron and I've been a cycling nut for the past 25 years. I have done basically every mtb stage race the country has to offer including The Epic, W2W and Sani. I do feel however that there is definitely an appetite for a long distance road adventure! For the inaugural event we are going to keep RAM relatively low key. Each rider's entry fee covers all basic costs like accommodation, meals etc. We therefore don't need a minimum amount of entries to make the 2015 event happen because each rider essentially pays his own way through the entry fee. We've had a great response so far and we foresee a great turnout for the inaugural event!
