johanpre44 Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 In for Marathon on the Saturday. Know it will not be as easy as the Trailseeker Marathon's. Anybody done the 20km before? Entered my wife and almost 10 year old son. Suspect my wife will not be too impressed with the route being a bit harder than 20km at northern farms.

There were a lot of complaints about it, so it may have been improved now.

There were a lot of complaints about it, so it may have been improved now. No man, if they take that climb and descent out then it's just a boring flat race... There is a reason this is part of the National series, the technical bits have to be there.

This years routes will be refined 2014 routes, with less gravel roads, with some new sections. 2013 Routes will not be repeated. (It was too hard for the half and way too easy for the marathon.)

I'll upload proposed routes of Clarens within the next week. Route profiles will always be on our website, if they aren't there yet, they are not completed.www.nationalmtbseries.com
