GlockG4 Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 Cant sleep, so just entered the ultra. Only after entering saw the 2400m accent! Holy holy ****...need to trick one of my mates to enter now aswell. Going to be a LONG day in the saddle. This will be my break-in of my new bike...hope we both survive!

I have found myself still a bit skittish on some rocky stuff after my crash, and have done almost zero MTBing since September last year. Only Cradle loop type stuff.

Only Cradle loop type stuff.Not to bad, just a section close to the end that gets a bit rocky...nothing to serious though. Did it last year after i bonked bad and strugled to consentrate haha

Rusty250 Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 In for both full and half. Did the half in 2013 and it nearly killed me after not riding for 6 weeks prior to the race due to hamstring injury. So, I have a score to settle with the half. But before I get there, there's this 'little' thing called the marathon to get through :-)Looking fw to the weekend; the last big riding before Sani2C.Also entered.... hopin the last big training for Sani2C.. This means that there is CURRENTLY a 04h30min cut-off at waterpoint 5 (73km into the 118km). It might change if we can get what we are working on to work.So bring your A - game

dillon Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Got a double spruit ride done, in preparation for Clarens, I found a single 20km spruit ride was not quite enough training for Sabie. Will get some more training at http://www.clarensbrewery.co.za/on friday night
