Spez247 Posted December 1, 2015 Share Hi Peach' Sure it is somewhere in the 18 pages, but what can i expect to be covered in the intermediate? Would be keen to join on the 12th. Thanks Peach. and bikerdoodle
bikerdoodle Posted December 1, 2015 Share If you are comfortable on your bike and have been riding for a while I would recommend the Intermediate, Beginner is if you are still nervous and unsure.I'm comfortable on the bike. Rode for years as a kid, nothing hectic though, then didn't ride for years, then rode a motorcycle for a few years (some dual sport thrown in) and recently sold the motorbike, did a few 10kms at Rosemary Hill, and bought a bike about a week ago. The stuff that makes me nervous and unsure is:* sharp turns (coming in too fast)* drops* steep/rocky downhills So pencil me in for intermediate on the 12th please. Thanks This is generally what I cover in the Intermediate class. - Movement, getting loose on the bike- Track stand/balance- Braking- Cornering, Long and tight corners- Drop off- Steep climb- lifting your front wheel- Getting onto/over logs and pavements- Rock garden We run through some exercises then go ride some trails. TALUS Posted December 1, 2015 Share Hi Peach I am wondering whether you will consider 16/12/15 at Groenies? I will gladly cover private if available but maybe some Hubbers want to join? Riding some known bits but learning how to read and do it better. Training and improving. Peach.
