HI Gen

Ok great, sounds good. What is his current level of riding, is he comfortable on his bike?

I haven't posted any dates yet, my next month is booked up but I will post dates here when I have another free weekend.

He's comfortable on his bike, he gets on the bike when time allows for it.  He isn't a complete beginner though (skills wise), and def not scared, but we don't have any real cross country type tracks here, so there is much to learn. (rock gardens, drops, jumps etc .. things like that),, so i think starting at your beginners course would be a good start for him.

If you don't have any plans for the weekend and want to give gravity riding a try this is a great place to start.

The whole track has been ridden on a HT and there is nothing too crazy or steep.

HT using the B-lines I would imagine. Really cool track, rode it for the first time last weekend. The"racing" should be interesting.

Smooth is fast........

Hey Peach,

I am also interested into doing a skills clinic... Have been riding MTB since I can remember and a very "playful rider", so really enjoy technical riding. I can do wheelies, manuals, stoppies, rear wheel hops, drop offs, trackstands, bunny hops and all that kind of thing but I am at a point where I feel I need something new. One thing I have never been able to master is jumping, proper dirt jumps... I can do the normal curb jumps but would really like to learn how to do proper dirt jumps. I think it comes down to I have never known where to find those kind of jumps to learn. I have done some odd downhill riding in Tokai (I have a friend with a downhill mtb and just been bombing that) and really enjoyed it but just couldn't quite get the jumping thing going. I would love to get into downhill and trials but just haven't been able to afford either, seeing as I am still a student.

Any places you could suggest to learn/practice in PTA?

I feel I have all the basics, but they could be improved and I am looking to learn some new skills so I will be keeping an eye out for when your next skills clinics will... :)
