Brian Fantana Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 I am going to clock some Attakwas training miles this December. 23rd - 29th - Canon Rocks - Rides in Boknes/Alexandrea/Kenton/Boesmans area. 29th - 2nd Jan - Longmore Forest training rides in between work commitments 3rd Jan - 11th Jan - Train on the farm in the Karoo (in between working on the farm).

Jocklaw Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 Ill be in St Francis from the 26th... anyone know of some trails down there?Will be taking the SS with me Tim's trails just outside St F, nice single track about 5 ks long with a green and yellow trail too. there is also stunning single track in the Irma Booysen nature reserve, which has plenty offshoots to explore, with some canopy riding in it. There is also a nice trail along the beach front starting at the harbour, going towards the lighthouse. There will be plenty locals riding and the LBS will also have info.

Scotty P Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 Anyone in the Ballito area for Christmas.....there's a social ride on 16 December, at Holla Trails, with groups doing a 45km, an awesome 26km & a chilled 15km. On 22 December there's also a night ride and trail run festival with various time slots available from 16h00 to 19h30. Drop me a line if you need more info, or see the Holla Trails website.

I'm in Bushmans from the 20th-26th if your lady want some company on the bike while you sprint ahead.. Also do you know the current conditions of the Heyterdale trails/DH line? (Was thinking of asking Brad today)

The DH line might be a bit overgrown, but there is an awesome section called Holgat which we used for stage 1 of the enduro, which is great fun on a trail bike. The bottom section of the DH line should be fine.
