Thanks guys appreciate the feedback, I will look into all the suggestions,

 

The main reason I want to supplement with electrolytes is that I cramp quite badly and want to try avoid it as much as possible, I think that my energy will come from my food and supplements will just assist in stopping the cramps

To combat cramping take your slow mag tablets/Fizzies everyday when training, and carry some rennies with you when you race just incase, seems to work for me.

So today I rode on 1.75L of water and Elete electrolyte + 1 banana.

 

The elastic snapped halfway up Witkoppen but that was because my training has lacked a lot of power intervals, hill repeats and other strength training exercises.

 

I can't remember when last I didn't have a dry mouth during/after a ride. I found drinking other powder based products would make me crave even more H2O. I gave up drinking sugar-based products in August this year so it's been water only.
