BlinkFan Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 Hi,Was wondering it it is possible to convert a 2013 90mm Lefty (New Lefty PBR 90 29) to a 100mm Lefty?From what I can tell the upper air seal is limiting the travel. Don't know why though? For geometry purposes maybe?

droo Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 No, that just makes the spring more linear. There are spacers on the air spring that can be removed to extend travel depending on the model.
kosmonooit Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 Some are limited by a spacer inside that can be cut, like my Max 130 that got converted to a 140mm by snipping a spacer. You will probably find more info on this on the mtbr forum under Cannondale, there is a really jacked guy there Craig who will be able to give you a def,. answer, he also supplies bits and pieces, and does rebuilds/upgrades.
