Can still remember when IMB Lotus came to race there......

Remember the Schools races we used to do around Germiston Lake? I lived for those! I'm sure part of my buttock is still ingrained on the road at SunnyPark!!!

GreyOwl Posted March 18, 2008 Posted March 18, 2008 Top Star was a good circuit. I always enjoyed Top Star, Germiston Lake and that one around Krugersdorp 'Quay West' shopping centre! Those were good races. Pity there are no kermesse (crash mess!!) races these days...
bob_the_builder Posted March 18, 2008 Posted March 18, 2008 Yip, that style of racing certainly taught me a lot about race-craft. Topstar was a great circuit, and a good format with the hillclimb, just didn't suit me.

Can still remember when IMB Lotus came to race there...... Yes I did it last year and ended up with a drip in my arm to recover from the heat exhaustion
