Nigel, seriously next time you have a skills clinic please let me know.  If I can get through a week without bruising or scraping my legs I'll then maybe start feeling like less of a noob

Theres an "Introduction to Enduro and DH" day on sunday at Giba if you are keen to come ...

David D is organising it with Giba, but a good couple of the main guys and girls will be on hand to give pointers and guidance.

Daves charging R100 (over and above the R40 Giba entry) ... and this gets you shuttles up the hill the whole day and also guidance as to how to ride different sections etc.

As far as I know Dave has 2 or 3 of the DH ladies there too who can also help give pointers etc, so you wont just have guys telling you what to do ... hahaha

If the DH is not up your sleeve just yet - Dave and I are planning some stuff with Rohan from Detour Trails regarding skills courses etc. So maybe get hold of Rohan and tell him to pull finger and organise a clinic

Blondeonabike, I will suggest doing as Nige suggested here. These ladies and gents are great riders and awesome people and they will help you for sure in the right direction.

(As far as I can remember I was lucky enough to win a skills weekend (from Detour Trails) which will be with these okes in the new year. I have ridden with them all before as riding buddies, and I must say I am quite excited to see how they will give me tips once they will now be the skills instructors and not just the fellow rider....they might need a wip or something )

Did W2W this year and we came 47th in the race. So can tick that one. Doing Atta 2015 on my SS. IS there a time limit? (in days)

Nope, just the standard cutoff time, it should be a breeze .
