FELT F75 or F85

A bit of Advice if you please?

F85 is a full alloy with carbon fork and carbon wrap seatpost. Full 105 10sp with Ultegra rear der. Alex wheels.

 

F75 is alloy frame with carbon stays. Ultegra group with Dura ace rear der and mavic aksium(crappy) wheels.

 

Obviously the F75 is a better bike... Value for money depending on the diff prices.

Thanks, F75 currently priced at R10K is this a gud deal for a bike or are there other bikes i should look at?

R10 000 for an Ultegra specced bike. That is a really good price. That is normally the price range of a 105 specced bike. (I assume you are talking about a new bike).

 

Somewhere on the hub there was a discussion and they mentioned that the F75 goes for R16 000.00. You are getting a real bargain here.

F55 is R16500 and has a mix of Dura ace and Ultegra.Very good value as far as i am concerned.

 

F75 is R10990 and is a mix of 105 and Ultegra

 

F85 is R8999 and is also a mix of 105 Ultegra and FSA

I bought my son a F75 3wks ago. Very nice ride and good value for money. The only thing is that I do not trust the Shimano WH550 wheels, so I opted for Fulcrum racing 5's. Here is a pic of the bike with his training wheels

What year is the model you are buying? If it's a 2007, you will get a better price as they always discount near the year end to clear old stock.

 

I bought a Z80 last year end November, and got R1000.00 off list price.

Wish I could have afforded one of the F series though, but still very happy with the bike.

You can get the 2007 model (red version) for 1K cheaper
