My build so far. Just waiting for the rear derailleur and a cable guide then will complete. Super excited to try it out. Please forgive the untidy tv room. 2 year rules the roost in our house. ????

Come together very nicely Stefano ????

I'll admit the build kits and wheels they advertise them with don't make them look 'wow'. I'm waiting to see a customers build with flashy Grail wheels and Rival22. I think they can be made to look way more flash then portrayed on the site. IMO.

I have a 26 on one scandal frame, I want to get a single speed crank from origin 8. Anyone know if a 48 tooth front chainring will fit the scandal?

If you're interesting in selling or swopping that Scandal frame, please let me know...

48 could be a bit big on a mtb frame... not 100% sure though.

Well done on the builds guys. Do you mind if I tweet the progress so far?

I need to fix my wheelset dilemma for my CX bike

I need a set of Disc braked rims for my CX bike - the carbon ones I run historically are scaring me. They are max 4 bar inflation (old XC rims) which works okay - but its a bit risky as I am plus 100kgs so i was looking around at options.

A carbon set of rims that can handle higher i.e. road pressures, are very pricey i.e. R 18 500-00.

I see a number of people running ZTR Grails.

Any idea where i can source a set of those rims locally?

Send Ryan a pm. He just built a set for another hubber! He can source them and build them!

Ryan built the Grail rims for me pictured a few posts back. Rated to 8bar for 23c tyres, only 3 bar for 32c though.

Sounds right. Can't see the need to run more than 45psi on 32 and bigger.
