No, next year's prologue stats at UCT then heads for Tokai with a seriaas climb in it.

SEAT OF LEARNING

It's only 20km, but riders will know after 600m of hard climbing that the Absa Cape Epic has begun. For the first time, the Cape Epic visits the University of Cape Town, where the Prologue starts and finishes. The course leaves the Seat of Learning and immediately heads upwards, including two of the more testing climbs on the mountain - one at about 8km which has been given an unprintable, expletive-laden name by the locals - riders will know it's coming when they pass the quarry on their right - and the other at 12m called Dead Man's Tree (the last 50m are brutal). The route heads up to Tafelberg Road and from there it is mostly downhill for the remaining kilometres, including some fun single track: enjoy!

That route description is for the face of table mountain... the climb is motherFcker hill. Dead man's tree is down the main road (Tafelberg road) past the cableway. Nowhere close to tokai...

If they are riding tokai then that description is WAY off. Tokai is approx 20 to 25km away from that point and 20km from UCT so there's no way they could include it in a 20km round trip.

Just checked the site. They're not including tokai this year.

I know you're trying to stir a bit of ***, but you take the line I was talking about (and the one that Duran and Devon takes, which is how I learnt to take it myself)

And this one? I'm a little unsure in the steep stuff.

Hahahaah. You're such a funny guy, Duane. Can't handle that I picked up a better line from somebody infinitely more talented than me, and I passed it on to someone who takes the same line I used to take before seeing what faster riders did in that section.

Try your trolling somewhere else, buddy. Like on Facebook, where your buddies can try and back you up but just make you look like more of a fool.

Yes it, even though most of it on the north shore section is still beyond my knyp meter...

Fire hut, I really love. As soon as you remove the gaps and stuff which I still really really battle with, I'm okay. Slowly getting better, but that's when it helps to rode with okes like Andrew Van Aswegen and Brood Opman. Those okes fly...

While you okes are at it, can I gooi mine in for analysis!???? Duane, no comments from you please! Unless its complimentary cause I recall following you down the same line!!!

Bwahahahaha, see you softies soon! (Tearing new lines hopefully!)

Never been there (sniff) so can't comment. But... i can't really see the trail cos there's an old fella spoiling the view ;)

Btw Tony, meant to ask you how your X dealt with the F word?
