Thanks for the advice Nigel. Got my ride in and glad I saw the course now rather than doing a practice run in 7th. Not sure I can climb those climbs twice.

Are you guys going to leave the easy routes open for the Enduro? On Jewitt's I'm less likely to hold someone up if I do the easy route at the top. Chances are 50/50 I'll make an error on that one. The second split on Jewitt's looks okay, but I nearly fell on the easy route as I was looking at the hard route instead of concentrating. On Rennes Rumble it may be a good place to allow someone to pass near the bottom where it splits.

I have asked KathF to proof read a mail shot i will send out ... will get back to you ASAP when shes done with it ...

But if you ride from the club ... do the outback trails ...

Jewitts Jive to Gauntlet - (SP2)

- sahara is not in - we go around it ;)

Voodoo Lounge to the lower road (SP3)

- then we are NOT DOING Batoutta Hell - so DONT climb Lebanon ... go up Pressure cooker etc to get to Rennes Rumble ...

Rennes Rumble to where it crosses Campbells Climb (SP1) ...

I managed to find some Gopro footage from last year of Jewitts through voodoo lounge to the road at the bottom so I am covered for SP2 and SP3. I also have footage of Rene's all the way to the road that takes you back out to the substation.

I do not know all the names to so I am a bit lost as to which is Campbells climb.

Could someone try and point out the end of SP1 to me please :whistling:

Okay, Stage 1.

It has it all. Downs, ups, crashes, muddling lefts & rights, burping and all that jazz.

Hope it helps

Stage 2 & 3 to follow (they're a lot shorter too).

Eish, that is going to make the ouks moeg, lots of up in that stage.

Super_mil was that the dropper post cable snapping off in the fall?

Yes, snapped off in the fall.

basically the thin tube on the top of the pic snapped off. Fortunately I had a spare at home so it just needed to be installed and bled & all is well again

That stage is certainly the most physically demanding, especially after the Demagtenburg climb, it's no joke and I struggled (okay I walked some of it) with a 36t up front & 11-36 cassette. That said I did all of this after a decent morning of building on the DH track in some pretty fierce heat.

Not too much proper up - just that first climb after Rennes - and then the little one past the dam ... otherwise its all rolling pace gradual stuff.

Stage 3.

My pick of the 3.

Take care on the 'Mine-shaft'

We may have to add a "BEGIN BRAKING HERE" board about 50m back from the turn into Voodoo Lounge.  :whistling:

Stage 2 is busy rendering and will be up ASAP.
