Good Morning Skylark and BBN......

What would you call the bikes pictured with 36 Volts and a rechargeable Lithium battery...

Electric or Electronic ?

I have very little experience and would appreciate your input ...

Thank you.......

Thank you ....without sounding to silly what would be the difference between an electric bike and an electronic bike ?

What do you think of the mountain bikes ?

personally I prefer to pedal but for those people that have challenges that some of us are fortunate not to have, they could at least open the door to them getting out on a bike - I like them

Or possibly for the less energetic or older individual ? not so much lazy I would say...there great to casually cycle with and then when one is feeling tired switching over to "electric mode" taking your feet off the pedals and enjoying the scenery.....

Thanks Downhill Junkie...I agree with your post....it gives the less fit individuals or those with challenges the opportunity to get out there....they honestly are such fun bikes...

Here in Belgium, there's a discussion going on whether or not there should be a speed limit of 25km/h for e-bikes! This is by people who think they are dangerous because they are too fast (some even go upt to 45km/h) .
to be precise: the law proposition says that the bike's motor should automatically switch off above 25/h. You can cycle as fast as you want but with your own leg power.

problem is: there's no police equipment to register bike's speed ^_^

i'd rather have the police making our streets more bike friendly first!
