In addition they have an enduro class for single crown fork bikes at all DH races and you can get an overall Enduro class medal for points in the DH races as well as their enduros

I don't understand really, what does this mean head shot? What benefits do the points have?

It's part of the WPDH series, and there's an Enduro classs for single crown forked bikes... 15th Feb

But it won't be like a full on enduro, rather DH on a trail/am bike?

Prizes, 1st 2nd 3rd in each class and overall in the series over the year etc... Effectively making it a proper series as opposed to individually counted races...

Overall season standings sounds very nice our own enduro series. Cape Enduro Series. (CES) Haha

I think the latter. Not sure though. The Enduro class used to be the "open" class from what I understand, where you could enter in a different class if you didn't have a full on DH rig and / or were a beginner.

I think you can race your single crown bike in Enduro AND DH classes, but not the other way around. So if you only bring one bike, and it's a single crown bike, you're still able to compete with both the big bikes and the little bikes.

Could be wrong though - Nico will know more.

No. Its just a DH race - yes there is an enduro class in the DH race, but its not a multi stage enduro race at all. Imagine trying to co-ordinate that with WP DH Rnd 1. So, Plenty of time to prep for the first proper enduro ...

any word on that front yet, Riyaadh?

Waiting on the insurance. But I am also looking for another bike.

Also it looking better to buy a bike overseas than local as new bikes here are more than double than most bikes in america

I found delvera enduro to be the toughest, and it's a toss up between jonkers and Steilte as being a favourite.. also contermans was excellent, can't remember when last contermans and it was as good as it was at the enduro

Your trail bike is more than up to most DH courses in the WC

Only one I'd say that gives it a bit of trouble is Conters A Line. That's sketch and steep. Definitely felt the need for my extra squish there! But again, it's the rider. I'm sure Duran could whip his trail bike there all day long and still beat 90% of the entrants.
