The Topeak Ergon riders have been spending several weeks staying at the luxury Arabella Hotel near Hermanus while training for the event and no doubt working on their team strategy. “At the moment we are training together in the Western Cape area,” said Lakata. “We both are in a good way and very motivated.”

I read on twitter yesterday that he was not riding Epic but would be doing the Cape Town Cycle tour towards the end of his training camp.

I asked the question on facebook and he replied saying he will be in the country with his team for a training camp and will not be riding the epic. He also did not mention anything about the argus
