Dicky DQ Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 Marius, why don't you do the XC MTB race on Sunday. That is for real MTB ppl. Also the MTB race on Saturday is xpected to be a real test. It is NOT the same ride as they had in the past. They have even indicated on the PPA website that this ride is not for Pansies (pun intended). Let's do both. Especially as your skils are now up there.....................

Marius Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 Thx Dick for those kind words, but ja, bunny hopping on one spot is not going to help me against those freaks that do the WP XC races, I did consider doing it but it's damn expensive!...and it's only 4 laps of 7km's. Nah, I much rather do a 20-40min TT up Du ToitsKloof with a 2hour warm up there and a 2hour warm down after the TT:-P 3de'ly, I have to keep my self "road" fit since the WP Roadie Provinsials is in a few weeks time..

Dicky DQ Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 WH do you hate laps or being lapped?? Depending on your age cat you ride iether 4,3,2 laps. As far as I know the race distance should take you 2+ hrs to finish, normaly. This is for the real mtb dudes......................Nuff said. Oh yes I think I have only finished 2 of the 4 events I have entered. then again I was a wuss then and I believe I am better now.
