porqui Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Rather disappointed with expo! Poor expo and no "GEES" raptor 1
alleyne Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 I know someone who is running a stand and they said the vibe had been pretty good and not that different from previous years. The exception being the nutrition type stalls who were taking a big knock!

Eppie Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 I was at the expo just after opening this morning and there was a good vibe and plenty of people rolling in early. From a personal point I agree that the guys from the nutrition stalls will probably take a knock, I bought nothing from them this year, a bottle of energy drink is more than enough for 47 kms as far as I am concerned.
NixM Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Was great this evening. Had nice chat to Evo bikes about a new set of wide lightnings....
NixM Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Also spoke to the guys from Versus socks, gave them an earfull about not having sizes below size 7 for us ladies. They said only one woman responded to their survey. That lady was me! Wannabe, Amberdrake and Slowbee 3
'Dale Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 (edited) The gees was strong at noon today. Lekka to see Evobikes there, one of my local LBS. There was some seriaasly beautiful things there which gave me some upgrade-itis fever.Managed to walk away, just. Got me some fluo Assos socks though just to ease the fever. masterj Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 I enjoyed it. Didn't have to much time. Was still working. There is to much beautiful thing to see. Some nice specials.
semisub Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 I had a list of things I needed and I managed to get all of them except one.
Mntboy Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 I went. Was plenty awesome. Really great vibe with loads to see. Thinking of going back again today.
rock Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 Sram Force CX1 was a high light, reminded me of my *cough* customized Sram Rival 1x10 groupset I *cough* engineered a few years go for my Cross bike. You're welcome Sram Oh and the R599 bell and the Santa cruz Stigmata. Not so hot was the Kargo green side walled with red stripes Vee tyres....... oh and CWC not bringing any cassettes through. otherwise good times.....apart from the traffic, oh and them not packing a race number in my bag. shew.
Cassie Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 I'm in the market for 1 x bib & 1 x lekka cycle shirt....I'll also try to grip the Ccard tight and not splurge on too much other stuff... Question - do I go spesifically to the expo to purchase this? any good suggestions? I've got a CWC bib and is suitably impressed... I do not want to pull trigger on Assos top of the range bib, but also not the bottom of the range either! (my other bib is a Santini one...and it's really great! But not really R900 difference great!! i cannot see any differences between the two...(R900 vs R1800)
