Cape Town southern suburbs MTB routes

Hi all,

 

I'm looking for some MTB routes that span the southern suburbs, from Newlands through to Constantia, for very early morning training rides.

 

With all the green belts and open land around, I'm hoping for some sneaky routes that'll keep our very small group off the tar and under the radar.

 

The obvious mountain routes aren't always an option for various reasons.

There are some nice routes from Claremont linking every piece of single track together all the way to tokay forest, I tend to do a 43km loop from my house close to villagers.

Jeez, that sounds pretty nice. I've been looking for more local trails and was wondering the same thing about the options as Hackster.

I work in the villagers grounds, any chance you can give me some idea of the route? I usually just hit Bowwood, through to wynberg girls, constantia and onto tokai. All on the road.

watch out for kugels and maltese poodles when cruising through those green belts. and the poodle sh!te that that the kugels don't bother picking up.
