Does anybody know of a place that does custom heat molding for Shimano shoes in the Johannesburg area?

 

I emailed Cool Heat a week ago and they haven't graced me with a response yet :-/

That's normal by Cool heat.. I know Shimano had a special oven where the shoes were baked in. Google it and check.

Hey dude.

 

I got a pair of XC 90's last month and been trying to get time to get round to them. 

 

Heard you just call them and they'll hook you up. I know the molding machine was in CT for Argus show but sure they got it now.

I have never found Cool Heat Agencies to be anything but extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

I finally gave in and called Cool Heat and they told me that Cycle Lab Fourways and Westdene Cycles both have Shimano ovens. I was quoted R150 to mold two pairs of shoes at Cycle Lab Fourways which I think is reasonable. If you buy the shoes from them then the molding is apparently free.

 

Hopefully other people based in Jo'burg will also find this information useful.
