We started late yesterday and slep in Jwaneng in Botswana. We are in Okahandja tonight. Tomorrow morning to Etosha for two nights camping. Then on to Angola on 01 April.

As a goodbye gift my cellphone was stolen in Zeerust.

Botswana and Namibia is so awesome. Not only is the scenery awesome the people are also awesome and friendly. They are proud of their country. Both countries are neat and tidy. The roads are good.

WHY ARE WE IN RSA NOT THERE YET. I do not see us reaching that point. Is there some sinister force that is preventing us form reaching that point of synargy where everybody can live together peacefully.

I am definitely going to find out what the crime statistics are her.

Namibia (the country of Mr Dan Craven) is so much like RSA was...... happy people without xenophobic notions. Why has this happened in RSA????? It is really sad.

Thanks Oom!

It's a lovely country and a lekker dorpie that you are in. Enjoy your stay!

Nam definately has a better 'feel' to it in comparison to SA, but I have to admit that it has also changed in the last few years..

p.s. In comparison to SA the crime levels are low, which is always nice.

Dont know about Nam,but cant agree that Botswana is scenic(exept maybe for the Okavango).

I go there for business and Bots must be the flatest dullest place Ive been too(landscape does not change in 450km from Gabarone to Francistown),as for roads being great cant agree there either, people also dont know how to drive .

As far as crime if you speak to South Africans that work there, they say they also have their fair share of crime, its just not reported as much. One of my clients neighbours stole his newly planted trees out of his garden in broad daylight.

Give me SA anyday.

Not very complimentary about us are you.

Well,as its so flat and dull I suggest you come and do our Kalahari 2 day MTB Challenge in July or our Mokolodi Scorpion MTB Race in September and then tell me how flat and boring it is.

Unless of course our soaring crime level frightens you off

My apologies, did not meen to insult anyone, was just giving my opinion on my experiance in Bots. This opinion is on the geography of the country and not the people,in comparison to SA I think it is flat and dull.
