TheLegend Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 What is your guys opinion on the cape storm bib's? are they worth their money? what other products would you recommend? where can you buy them in the cape? I've had two flippen expensive Catelli bibs and both wore out/thread openend up so fast that i am very disapointed. I have very good experience with adidas bib's. can you buy them here in the country?

Willehond Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 Been riding the Capestorm bibs for two years and I love them. The inserts are great and I know loads of guys who swear by them. For the price you can't go wrong, but go for the ones with the stitching on the outside (less chafing.) I think they are slightly more expensive, but great (under R600 I think).Yes, Vermark and Assos and Castelli are great, but not on my budget. I really rate the Capestorm bibs.

TheLegend Posted March 30, 2008 Author Posted March 30, 2008 where in the WC can you buy the verarks? seriously, the two castelli bibs i had, both very expensive, were the worst bibs i ever owned - not worth the moeny for me. ya, assos seem to be the sh*t, but what my female buddies tell me is that almost everyone has an unpretty bum in them...and that for the steep price so i will check the cape storms out or perhaps the vermaks - if i find a store that stocks them. thanx for the input so far.

Dibles Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 I have Assos, Cape Storm matrix, and Anatomic bib shorts. All these bib shorts feel comfy to me up to about 3 or 4 hours and then only can I feel the difference. In order of comfort I would place the Assos 1st, then Anatomic and lastly the Cape Storm bibs. I agree with Sean that each cyclist finds comfort in different brands.

sPeEdY Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 I ride the cape storm and anatomic and to me the anatomic is the best. Cape storm is chafing me when riding. I don't know which model I have (cape storm) so I think it is a cheapie.
