T-Bob Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 I'm running a 2011 Trance as a trail bike and quite fancy hitting a couple of enduro races this year. I was going to keep it 'as is' as I've got great wheels, good rubber, upgraded cockpit etc and am more than happy how it flicks about. But now I'm thinking swapping out my Fox 125mm with a Rockshox Revelation 150mm Team that a buddy is selling in very good condition and it's a Thru-Axle as well. Just wondering what people thought about the RS generally as well as increased angles / height and if you've pumped up the front from a 125, how it went.

popcorn_skollie Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 The bb will be raised slightly but those trances had low bb's to begin with. the head will open a degree or so.+ more travel = more fun.The best part is the through axle. You'll probably have to switch hubs and relace the front wheel but yoh. Going from qr to thru axle is like a revelation.Well, you know what i meando it
T-Bob Posted March 27, 2015 Author Posted March 27, 2015 Sweet guys, thanks. My Fox is already a thru axle so I don't have to give up my Spank Spikes and the switch out is pretty easy. The Rev' is a 150 so should make it more fun.

It won't compromise handling at all, as long as you know how to move on the bike and load the front wheel. Those revelations are beautiful forks. Plus, its not a fox!
