marshace Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 Hi hubbers Have a great set of Easton EA 70 XCT 29 " mtb wheels.Free body needs replacing. Grinding sound from excess moisture and dirt.Opened it up but bearing surfaces are badly pitted, why I am not sure..... According to specs it is called: C1 V1 XC2 free body/casette body. Anybody have any idea where I can find one of these ??? Regards Eric

droo Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 LBS can order through the agents, although the agency's just moved so stock may be an issue. Current agent is Hullabaloo, old agent is Omnico, so between the two of them you should find something.
skipperw Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 Google it. Easton released a free spacer kit to resolve this issue. I'm going through a warranty claim at the moment. But my wheels are new. If yours aren't, I'd recommend getting the spacer kit to ensure you don't keep replacing bearings!
