  12. Depending on what BB you have, you can also consider putting in the second spacer which you normally get in the box. A bit of trial and error but you should manage. Good luck.
  13. Had similar issue and replaced cable which sorted it out.
  14. Spot on. Have had that coil spring slip out of the hole the end is secured in. You can actually replace the spring if it worn or bent. Taking it apart and cleaning and lubricating normally takes care of the sticking. If its a new derailleur this should not happen !!!
  15. Found 4 button remote on Green route just before entry into Rooikat on Friday 5 June. See attached. You welcome to contact me on 0828882738.

  17. Hi Otero Have the same problem. 96 BCD is like hens teeth, and if you can find it they cost a fortune. Ended up buying a new SLX crank with "standard" and readily available 104 symmetrical BCD. My 96 BCD crank now also collecting dust....
  18. Hi Hubbers Anyone replaced the P tension spring in Shimano rear derailleur and where can I find one in Cape Town area ? Chain flopping around with minimal tension. Have maxed tension screw adjustment and ensured chain is not to long. Have stripped mine down and cleaned out a lot of "gunck" but still not working as is should. Results in some chain slip in small rings. LBS either look at me strangely or don't have stock and doubt whether they will ever get. Shimano spares seem to be a problem. Any advice will be appreciated.
