Yours looks to straight to be a crack but may be a split.

Think I will do the sound test tomorrow with a 10 pound hammer after the race.

I cant edit pics on my phone. Or rather don't know how. The "crack" looks like a ridge in the top tube. Slap bang down the centre of the tube/pic.

When its in the middle it can be where it has been moulded together???maybe???

Yeah, I thought the same. it is exactly centre and so straight I thought could be a joint.
