Respray or Wrap?

I recently found out that you can choose between a respray or a frame wrap. What are the benefits to both, costs involved and where do I go for quotes or assessments? Cheers!

I got my bike wrapped and at first I was a little hesitant as it wasn't the norm but I will say I am very happy I went that route.

What I like is that if you get over the paint job or get tired of it, you can just pull it off and get something new, you don't need to pay to get it re-sprayed etc.

I would recommend doing it if you like me and get over paint schemes and colours very quickly

I got it done in Spartan by Kempton park.

I can give you the guys number should you wish. It took about a week to do and then there was some issue with the wrap sticking to the frame so he did another coat free of charge and that seemed to do the job.

everyone talks about wraps but it would be nice to see some detail pics of how it looks- of joints and awkward spots like round stays and bb and what the finish is like

have you had any scratches or damage from cables etc ?

sorry the pictures arnt the greatest because took them with my phone. The bike was bare aluminium with white forks now its matt black with glossy black and red outline decals.

The awkward spots are actually pretty well done. my understanding is that its the same process as plasti dip which is a 2 process based on complexity. They either take the whole frame and dip it into a "big bucket" or they spray the wrap onto the frame.

Like I had said, I am very happy with the outcome

If it's sprayed on surely it's not a wrap? I think people are expecting a vinyl wrap applied from sheets with a heat gun to mould it?

My understanding from what the guys told me is that they are spraying on vinyl. It is a wrap because a few spots it has come off when it has rubbed against my wifes bike etc. you can actually peel it off
