To be totally honest. If emergency services arrive and they need to work on you they are going to see a lot more than your medical details

There's got to be a good business study topic on how medic alert managed to let this market slip. All the allergy kids had them growing up, I see their business model is still to charge an annual fee of R90 and you get the medical details from phoning their call centre!

I usually ride with my card ID, medical aid card and credit card and ICE ID.

 

On a side not, how's the roll out of these card ID's going. Took my mom for one earlier this year, she gave the que one look and told me: "Sorry mister. You're taking me for breakfast instead."
