Enjoy it! Sweat it out! then after a while get yourself the bike you want/need. (Too much debate - no ride) Grammar lesson - technical and XC cannot ever be used in the same sentence especially with just a / between them - I am watching you.Agree. I'm on my first real bike (second bike) and I still don't really know what I need. And I've read a lot. Reading counts very little against experience. Your first bike probably won't be the perfect bike for you since you don't yet have a way of knowing what you like. Just buy something and ride it till the bearings turn to dust (true story).
