Anybody converted a AC Rear disc 225 hub from 10mm x 135 to standard QR? Is it just a case of dissembling hub removing thru axel and installing below QR axel?

Got nice new set of Wide lightning's now need to convert to fit frame which got the standard QR dropouts.

Any tips?

Ya done the rear...very easy. Make sure the little washers stay exactly where they are esp between freebody and hub

Is there a picture of this somewhere on Google.

Think I messed this part up.

Dunno if there is a pic, but there must be a little washer between hub and freebody or it doesn't work properly. There is also a little washer outside the freebody between axle end and bearing

Found a manual on AC site http://www.amclassic.com/download/manuals/mtb_disc225_10x135mm_thruaxle_retrofit.pdf They mention " Very Important! Locate the 0.5mm axle spacer, which is either stuck to the drive side hub shell bearing or the inner bearing on the cassette body. This spacer is critical to maintaining the correct engagement, do not lose!"

Thank you so much! Will make sure if i fitted it correctly. My problem is after a few rides the free body gets stiff. It the bike is on a stand and i pedal so that the wheel can "free", the crank is also turning.
