Bike parts terminology - pet peeves

It's a small issue but good for a Friday thread I think.

 

My pet peeve is when someone calls a Shimano external BB "GXP" which is a SRAM-specific product.

 

Guys, the Shimano one is Hollowtech II (HT2)

"I need a new rim", when asked by a non-English-speaker in a bike shop, can sometimes mean a rim, but often refers to a tyre, tube, whole wheel, or anything basically that's round.

 

I've heard "pedal axle" used for crank.

 

"Cleats" is often used to mean pedals.
