Its a bike. You get on and ride.

 

When it is broken, you take it to the shop and say, "the thingmaybob at the bottom on the round part broke and duct tape did not work. Please fix it."

 

Pick up bike and the guy says well Sir, your bearings ......... and every thing else is just a buzz in your ear as you understand nothing.

 

You get on your bike and then you ride. Happy! Names schmaanes of parts. It just works. Not always well I might add, but it works.

It's a small issue but good for a Friday thread I think.

 

My pet peeve is when someone calls a Shimano external BB "GXP" which is a SRAM-specific product.

 

Guys, the Shimano one is Hollowtech II (HT2)

To "peddle" is not the same as to "pedal"

 

Selling peddles ( even spell-check picks that one up) is not the same as selling pedals..

 

and so on..

you could peddle a pedal though....
