Sunday 26/7/2015 sees Cresta Wheelers hosting a 200km Audax event at Northcliff County Club, our new home base. Entry is R90. For details www.audaxsa.co.za. Event starts at 0700. This event attracts riders of varying abilities, 15-30 km/h. Great training for forthcoming spring and summer events. This is also a great way to experience ultra distance cycling.

If the weather is good ill be there, this is a great fast route[/quote

After a bit of a rain and wind on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Sunday should be fine and cold.

Sunday saw about 20 riders participating in one of the tougher Audax events of the year. The route leaving from Northcliff Country Club, and heading out to Broderstroom, and home via Magaliesburg, presented riders with 2300m of climbing over 200km.

Audax will take a break in August for Paris-Brest-Paris 2015 http://www.paris-brest-paris.org but will return on 13/9/2015 for a 100km and 200km event at The Lido. See www.audaxsa.co.za for more details.
