My wife got me a Jiggernaut from kickstarter. The shipping was insane from the states, which made it even more expensive. Check out the "Considering a homebuild" thread for some pictures.

I have been considering making up some locally though, with some improvements.

Who would be interested and at what sort of money? I will do some sums and see what is possible.

I will be building out of TI for shore! I work alot with TI so im really excited to build one!

Nolpoli I am interested!

i will make a Jig if I have to though! Part of the process and will make it feel better when i ride the bike!

I even made myself a TI coffee mug the other day just for fun! Love that stuff!

Not sure how to post pics on here to show the things Ive built so far!

What material do you have in mind to make one out off?  (The Jig that is)

I have been thinking of standard extruded aluminium section.

The kind used in automation framework. Its strong and accurate.

Would be nice to have an existing one to model it around... why reinvent the wheel I say.

I will build the jig out of steel!

Maybe get some parts laser cut for adjust ability! Wont be too pretty but will work and easy to get hold of!

I have not done too much homework on it and will probably be inventing the wheel on my own here. Will just make the ride so much better!
Once I have all m,y TI in my grubby paws i will start the jig!

Thats a very nice jig he has made.

The nice thing about aluminium extrusion is its off the shelf stuff.

Just cut to length and its slotted to take T-Nuts so you able to put clamps, etc in the slots if you need.
