Just a heads up to anyone still interested in small tail/front lights: Takealot has a few of the Knog lights on their daily special page today (14 August 2015)

Thanks for the heads up

I dropped some eBucks on one of these:

I have one, and they are not very effective at all!

This.

I have a cabled rear light which I now never use.

The Serfas Thunderbolt is really bright and easy to install and uninstall. Fits your charging requirement too.

About R300 - R400 if I'm not mistaken.

Alternatively the Knog Blinder is a good option.

After my SECOND Serfas died, I switched to the Knog.

The Serfas is much more bright but it CANNOT handle rain.

Get this.

Clips in under the FIZIK saddle into the saddle rail, is bright as hell, works for a long time on the one battery, and best of all, looks really neat.

If you have a FIZIK saddle on more than one bike, this is the light for you. Swops from my Road to Mtb in a few seconds.

I just got myself one: https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/116861-boast-about-your-latest-purchases-here/?p=2688089

Haven't used it yet though

+1 on the Knog

That thing is seriously bright

A bit of an old post I know, but which knog blinder are you all referring to?

Because of the responses to this post, I'm looking at two, attached, blinder 1 and blinder 4 Cross @R290 and R435 respectively.

Presumably the 4 Cross is better as it's 4 x 11 lumens as opposed to 11 on the Blinder 1. Thoughts?

For me, being visible from behind in full daylight with an ultra bright light is crucial.

My serfas has handled rain superbly well. Still can't find a better light out there for the money.
