That new one hasn't arrived in the country yet, from what I can see.

Pinned have them listed, but not available. As do Dial'd.

R1550 for a 661 Comp...

Weren't those like R800 a couple of years ago?

I know exchange rate and inflation blah blah blah... but holy cow... I think I need to start a rainy day fund for when my full face has had that "one crash too many"

yep, that's teh one.

Still think you can get one around that price if you look for old stock. But I'm not sure - haven't been looking.

Don't touch. It's a re-branded early MET POS.

It'll survive a knock to the head, but not much else.

No wonder they have reduced the price so much. I also noticed in the small print that it says "slight defect" , not something you want to see when it comes to a helmet.

Umm... which MET is that?

As for this shell design... Rudy Project isn't the only brand to jump on the band wagon. The only variance seems to between them seems to be the paintwork and the peak. the list of copycats is huge. Here are a few examples.

I was looking at it and thinking it looked exactly the same as my old POS that would deform if my 3 year old sat on it.

With those other colours, it's now clear that it's not...

Which is clearly nothing like the abovementioned ones.

Right. More coffee...
