Cheese Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 What was the numbers, saw a bit of feedback from Team Telkom and Willie took out the Tour.But it did not look like there was place for recreational/Vet riders.Also difficult as we need to work.

Its the same as with the ToGH, I would love to be able to do it, but cannot justify the leave and the entry fee.

I Can't really complain about the entry fee though, for vets it was R1000 thats great good value for money when you consider its 6 stages with a rolling road closure.

So we were really spoilt.

Open and vets went off in one group due to the low numbers but as TheRob said it was very well organised. We camped but there is so much choice for accommodation in that area that you don't have to take the hotel package. If you do 'though you get shuttles to the start thrown in - Europecar! I hope it grows.
