Jiss if you fellow cyclists DO  NOT keep left of the white line, look for an angry lady on a purple Cannondale screaming at you! Also no littering, bloody roadies are the WORST (i consider myself first and foremost a MTBiker)

Not looking forward to the wind, not not not. And that is like the windiest part of Jozi. My Cape Town days of riding in gale force at Cape Point are over.

And we've been told ????

Well they haven't come back as yet, was hoping to get them today but didn't happen so on fulcrum racing 3's tomorrow.

Still hope I make it to the start line, praying I get up feeling better.

i would rather not have deep sections on tmw.

But then I'm a lightweight ????

I'm sorry, but if the same wind pitches next year I'll turn my alarm off and sleep in. I'll throw my entry fee in the water with a smile on my face.

I was stranded alone at 35kms to go, didn't know how I'll be able to make it to the end. Luckily I was able to grab onto one of the bunches just as they crested a hill. Struggled to hang on till the end but much better than trying to fight that wind on your own.

Did not find the wind too bad, certainly no where near as bad as it blew at the Sedhaven last year with riders been blown off their bikes. Well organised and nice to receive bottle coke, future life drink and water at the end.

The race was well organized. But the wind, AL was blown apart in the first 30km. From there it was just small bunches all the way to the end.

As we left there was a guy in Cycle Lab kit lying on the road being attended to by some paramedics. Anybody know if he is ok?

It's posts like these that give MTBers a bad name.
