My back usually starts aching and I develop a headache, this tells me to start dosing on CorenzaC and multi-vitamins.

This afternoon I started developing a headache and on my comute home my legs hurt like I was on the final sprint of a 60km race(my comute is only 2.5km).Think I might be coming down with something.

Sho. The other one is that my eyes go all puffy. Probably more from the lack of sleep this morning but my hole body just screamed no to training today. Time to listen for a change.

Had the elevated HR as well but can that not be due to a myriad of "other" factors? Like sleep deprivation for example?

What are those tell tale signs that warns you to take the day off training?

I was sat in a meeting room with a freezing cold draft and my glands went thickish immediately. Been sneezing ever since and swallowing feels laboured while me chest doesn't feel it's usual self.

Still did my intervals after work so pushing the limits of what my body will allow.

What signs do you get just before you get sick?

Cold draft has nothing to do with getting sick

You okes must not forget it's spring... more likely than not hay fever/allergy sinus. Ask me, I'm an expert-level sufferer and currently vrot with it.

When my throat gets that scratchy, dry when you swallow feeling i know i'm coming down with flu...

For me i also just sit a few days out rather then ending up weeks of the bike. That feeling of being of the bike for weeks is worse than the actual flu. Not worth it.

Ive done the "above neck" cold training. Not worth it. You feel crap and negative.

I must say that maybe just for me but if I do go out when I have the above the head neck symptoms normally not long after that I get either a full on cold or flu ..... perhaps I am unable to go easy enough then but that's what happens to me anyway.

I know many people say that 'being in a draft or getting cold' doesn't make one sick but for sure it seems to happen to me as well ..... as the youf would say FML  :cursing:
