I heard that Produx are so busy making carbon bits for Ducati they don't have time for cycling stuff any more. Rather take your frame and mount it on the wall if it means so much to you.

I will, I will, it only has to survive the next 9 weeks before I return to the european mother continent and will able to use an other bike of mine.

you apparently missed my post where I state that the frame is 12 years old? Even though that was a misinformation and the frame is ONLY 11 years old, it's still a bit too old. I tried it with a sad email after the frame cracke for the first time but no reaction. careless buggers!

ooo' date=' ok, them move onto plan B) is the bike insured?[/quote']

the flemish lion just messaged this to me:

"is the bike insured LOLLOLLOLLOLLOLLOLLOLLOLLOLLOLLOLLOLLOL"

hihi, thanx for the helpful idea Marius, but the frame is just old and dead and I accept it. Only, I hope it will last for the next couple of weeks before I enter that white and blue bird that takes people to the german motherland to use an other bike.

Do not forget the omnipresent cable tie..... much more style and stronger than "bloudraad" teee heeee!!!!!!

Die Legende moenie dat Meneer Jan Boreman jou omkrap nie...... hy is net soos my oorle skoonma..... altyd reg. Hy moet net onthou sy frame sal ook oppak en hom kan hulle ook nie weld nie!!!!!!!!

This is what we do, we get a flat piece of metal, and rivet that to either side of the crack. Then we wrap that up in duct tape, and finally we cable tie both ends of the duct tape just to be make extra sure.
