madbradd Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Chinese carbon form one of the manufacturers that rates their wheels for heavier riders - Light-bicycle or Yishunbike. I'm 110kgs before breakfast, riding on a 1550g wheelset from Yishunbike which is 30mm wide and really stiff and rated for 130kg riders. Light-bicycle use Novatec hubs, Yishunbike use Chosen hubs, and both rate their wheels for 120-130 kgs.

I am looking at a new set of wheels and I am torn between going ali (ZTR Crest with some light weight but decent hubs) or going Carbon
