My apologies, I didn't read the table properly.

It's still 6 teaspoons of sugar in 500mls  - which is more sugar than I eat in a week

It may be so, but for people that typically often have a buddy-bottle of Coke etc (I'm guessing that excludes you with your <6 teaspoons a week), the Bos has about half the sugar, and it's a less processed form.

Yes, you are right.  I don't drink soft drinks or fruit juice much.

I tasted some of my daughter's Bos (regular) and thought it was a bit sweet to give to kids.

The Sport is lekker and refreshing after a ride but also is too sweet (for me).

I like the Bos products very much, I just wish they would reduce the amount of sugar in them.  But I would still take any Bos product over a Coke.

Ummmm....ja. If I didnt I am sure I would not have been able to find my way around life..

The quantity is what I asked about...where he got that, but he answered above my reply (I pressed Post too late)

ja ja ja sorry okay. thought there was a reference to 32gi there. somewhere  :P

anyway - found this interesting graphic... who likes Fanta?

Yeah, that graphic is interesting. I always thought Schweppe's Dry Lemon was a slightly healthier option... meanwhile it's up there with Fanta Grape.

To be fair though, they need to compare apples with apples. they compare 330ml cans of carbonated soft drinks against 500ml bottles of sports drinks. They should do it all at equivalent volumes.

Yes, we digress, BUT...

Read that they posted those figures based on that's how much you will drink when buying a can or bottle as that's the size it comes in. Scientifically it makes more sense to compare 100ml to 100ml, but I get what they're saying.
