Gen Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 And finally the red number gets really awarded to the correct person SAGAN.. Damn he lit it up from km 0..
Gen Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 Cavendish has his eye on the record I think. Possibly he could ride the tour out to try and close the gap to the Cannibal. Coming back next year might not prove that easy with the class of upcoming sprinters.Mm Are there enough stages left to get it though.? Not convinced at all that he will stay to Paris.

tombeej Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 Cavendish has his eye on the record I think. Possibly he could ride the tour out to try and close the gap to the Cannibal. Coming back next year might not prove that easy with the class of upcoming sprinters. I'll be surprised to see Cav in Paris. The Olympics are just 3 weeks away and he's got to get back to the track now. I see him pulling out on the 2nd rest day - because there are still 2, maybe 3 stages he could win this coming week. No reason for him to stay on any longer than that. Actually he might not even make it to the 2nd rest day. He might just pull out after stage 14 on Saturday. Edit: In fact, I'd put money on the fact that we won't see Cav on the start line for stage 15 (Sunday). It's just too brutal.
'Dale Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 More seriaaasly Excellent perseverance shown in week 2 by Orica Bike' and their dedicated nr 1 rider for the stage They've stated that they're eyeing stage victories

HappyMartin Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 Yes but really. The choices for the red number have been absolutely crazy this year. Even the recipients have found it strange. Today made sense.
