It did happen to Adam Yates, who was the only one affected. So I'd hope it would be the same if it was just him.

 

The problem is defining what qualifies as an outside influence vs bad luck and how far back in the stage you go. The 3km neutral zone on sprints opened the door but that was also safety inspired. I hope it doesn't get like a safety car yawn in motor sport.

 

Sort out the spectator/bike control though, and get rid of the problem.

Shame hey.. I feel for him.. I knew he would make a move today.. I even asked here at a stage if he had yet.. so he really did lose out today.. aye man shame..

Gees, and I thought the spectators lower down were dof! Can't believe they took the team bus over, either.

And all the busses have to go up to go down.. that's just mal.. they should just have cancelled the stage or by pass Ventoux..absolutely crazy.
