Hi Gerald, Do you use the latest events for seeding or do you still get issues getting the info from other event organisers?

I can access the results up to last weekend as the Berge en Dale results are available.

Let's say that I can access results as far back as 2014 so it's fairly comprehensive and the seeding should be accurate.

At registration, there will be a list of names, with the race used for seeding, as well as your ranking compared to the field, and your ranking in each group.

How can you enter online if you dont have a champion chip registered? I am riding tandem with my son and he must purchase his chip and cannot enter online because of this.

Following the following steps:

  1. Go to www.germistonclassic.co.za
  2. Click on Enter Now
  3. Click on Start Entry
  4. Click on Enter button under the Tandem category

  5. If you have entered previous, you can enter your CHIP number OR your ID number to bring up your details.

If you have not entered previously, then just skip the chip number and ID number and click on next

  6. Complete your details

  7. You don't need to enter a CHIP number, but if you leave out other details, a red warning comes up at the last step.

  8. Once all details are okay (no warning) you will see a summary page. At the bottom, you can enter your tandem partner. Repeat the steps.

  9. When you get to the Enter Details section again, you'll see the first person's name, and above it will show 1/2... this means you entered the tandem section and need to add your partner.

Hope this helps you...

Just put the first 6 digits to represent your birthday YYMMDD, followed by 7 zero's:

example: 820211 0000 000

I see a number of people using this, and I know of a few foreigners that also don't have an ID number.

Play havoc with the lookup of results, but as long your name and surname is correct, I can make a plan to find results.

edit: sorry - 7 zero's

The address line 1 and postal code red corrections cannot be corrected on the entry under tandem as the lines are omitted. If we enter two individual 65 kms can we change this in the morning to tandem as the price would be the same.

Just put in his ID and then it should say you haven't entered a chip but can still carry on. Then on about the 2nd or 3rd page you select buy or rent a chip. Hope this helps.

Edit. Sorry i see now Gerald has already helped out.

Once you've entered as individual 65Km, send me a PM with both your names, and surnames and ID numbers.

I'll make sure ChampionChip correct it - and I'll do a manual change on the seeding.

edit: changes made (22:40)... bedtime now.
