Rally sensation Ashley Haigh-Smith’s newest challenge will kick off at the end of this week when he takes on all three FNB Wines2Whales (W2W) Three-Day Mountain Bike (MTB) Events. The FNB W2W MTB Adventure will start at the picturesque Lourensford Wine Estate (Somerset West) on Friday, 30 October, followed by the FNB W2W MTB Ride on Monday, 02 November and finally the FNB W2W MTB Race on Friday, 06 November.

Why would you want to ride the same route 3 times in a row!? 

It's not like the distances are so extreme that it becomes a major feat of endurance such as the Cape Epic.

He's just taking entries away from someone who was on the waiting list and could have got to experience the event for the first time. #freeentries #ego

Kind of agree with you, getting entries for all 3 events is probably the biggest achievement here....  :whistling:

he is just doing a fun trail ride where he is "sessioning" the trail the first two times before hammering the last ride.

Funny how this went from the rally star being tough and doing all 3 events to him being a prick because his free entries cost 2 others that really wanted to do it a spot :clap:

I wonder if he's still keen after the rain and cold of yesterday?

Did a 29th overall finish in the adventure - a pretty good start to the hat-trick.
